The local Boys & Girls Club, part of one of the largest youth development organizations in the nation, partnered with FUSESENSE to create a fully integrated campaign that would help drive brand awareness. A social media strategy and management plan were key components for brand growth. The Club needed a measurable solution that would increase online donations and volunteers.
A thoughtful discovery period led us to identify a messaging strategy that would resonate across all media — traditional and digital.
Blog Content Strategy
Developing a blog and content plan was a key element to position the Club as a the youth development expert. This initiative was designed to educate the public about the positive effect Clubs have on young people and opportunities to get involved.
We designed and developed a new blog look consistent with the design of the existing website and built to maximize search engine results. Back-end functionality and top posts feeding onto the Club’s homepage enhanced the Club’s overall digital presence.
Building A Foundation
FUSESENSE designed and programmed two interactive Facebook tabs for the Club’s page — one to allow donations to be made directly on Facebook and a second to welcome fans and inform them of the progress on priority outcomes.
We built consistent social media content, provided hands-on management, managed multiple Facebook advertising campaigns and enhanced and customized the Club’s existing Twitter presence.
FUSESENSE built a social editorial calendar and managed it for one year to prepare the Club’s staff to manage in-house. We trained staff members on best practices for moving forward.
FUSESENSE used our relationships with radio stations throughout the region to secure in-kind air-time where the Club’s Great Futures Start Here message was shared for many months (we still hear it today).
Working with Club staff, FUSESENSE managed an outdoor initiative that secured digital billboards across the city.
